Why
As time passes, photo collections grow, and it takes longer and longer to scroll through everything.
In fact, it takes so long to scroll through every photo, there are probably few people on Earth that have ever seen every photo in a single sitting.
Life Minute Photos originated from Memorable, which re-thought how a lifetime of photos could be presented on a single screen.
In Memorable, the default timing was 5 seconds per photo, which took hours to rotate through everything in an average large Photos library.
After Memorable closed and many months of figuring out life, I wanted to repurpose the core Memorable experience into a new open source project.
To solve the problem of visualizing every photo on a single screen in a world with shorter and shorter attention spans, I decided to call the project Life Minute and added 'Photos' for clarity.
I hope this project can help us collectively see the big picture sooner while living a more meaningful life filled with tens of thousands of more minutes of happiness.
